The European Meetings in Transylvania at Feeric Fashion Week 2025<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The French Embassy and the French Institute in Romania are once again joining Feeric Fashion Week in Sibiu for the organization of the European Meetings in Transylvania. Initiated in 2010, these meetings aim to build a Franco-Romanian community engaged in addressing the challenges of ecological transition, local development, and responsible consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the European Meetings in Transylvania will be an integral part of the Feeric Fashion Week program and will take place on July 16. Under the title \u201cSpeeding Up Slow Fashion,\u201d this year\u2019s edition marks the second time the European Meetings in Transylvania focus on sustainable fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will bring together students, academics, and professionals who will take part in workshops, panel discussions, and presentations led by figures actively involved in the ecological transition of the fashion industry, both from Romania and France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of the day is to foster long-term cooperation and to provide participants with the tools needed to become change-makers and work together towards a more ethical and sustainable fashion industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cSpeeding Up Slow Fashion\u201d event will be held in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a strong emphasis on supporting independent voices in fashion, it has become a hub for global talents and a springboard for avant-garde design, fostering dialogue between tradition and contemporary creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elena-Alexandra Miron \u2013 <\/strong>Intervenante introduction & mod\u00e9ratrice de la table-ronde<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elena-Alexandra Miron est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e en droit international et travaille dans le domaine de la durabilit\u00e9 et de la repr\u00e9sentation des jeunes. Elle est la fondatrice et la pr\u00e9sidente de l’association Platforma Tinerilor pentru Sustenabilitate qui promeut activement l’\u00e9ducation aux enjeux environnementaux et l’implication active des jeunes dans le processus de d\u00e9cision des politiques climatiques en Roumanie en Roumanie. Elle est intervenue lors du Forum des Initiatives de la Jeunesse 2025 organis\u00e9 par le p\u00f4le Gouvernance chaque ann\u00e9e et est l\u2019une des laur\u00e9ates de l\u2019AAP \u00e0 destination de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile en 2025 (projet d\u2019organisation de Local Conferences of Youth (LCOY) en Roumanie pour la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, dans le cadre de la Convention-Cadre des Nations Unies sur les Changements Climatique).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mariana Stan \u2013 <\/strong>Intervenante introduction & facilitatrice pour le workshop de sensibilisation grand public<\/em><\/strong> Mariana Stan est la coordinatrice nationale de Fashion Revolution Romania, ONG fond\u00e9e \u00e0 la suite de la catastrophe du Rana Plaza en 2013 qui est maintenant le plus grand mouvement d’activisme de la mode au monde. Mariana Stan a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dactrice pour le site www.glamour.ro et poss\u00e8de plus de 15 ans d’exp\u00e9rience dans le domaine du conseil et des relations publiques. Elle d\u00e9fend la transparence et la responsabilit\u00e9 dans l’industrie de la mode, une industrie qui doit respecter davantage les personnes qui contribuent \u00e0 son existence. Elle devait intervenir aux RET l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re mais a eu un accident de voiture sur la route vers Cluj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darja Richter-Widhoff \u2013 <\/strong>Intervenante table-ronde<\/em> & masterclass<\/em> sur le r\u00f4le des designers<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darja Richter Widhoff est une designer de mode, professeure et chercheuse n\u00e9e \u00e0 Berlin et bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Paris. Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 des Arts de Berlin, elle lance sa propre marque et remporte le prestigieux prix ANDAM en 1997. Passionn\u00e9e par l\u2019innovation et la recherche dans le domaine de la mode et du design textile, elle a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de nombreuses collections pour sa marque \u00e9ponyme ainsi que pour d’autres maisons de mode, notamment Donatella Versace (1998), Maison Leonard (2003) et Paul Smith (2009). Aujourd\u2019hui, elle est professeure \u00e0 l\u2019EnsAD et co-dirige le Master ENAMOMA-PSL, ax\u00e9 sur la mode durable et innovante.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Arielle L\u00e9vy Verry est une entrepreneure sociale, fondatrice et pr\u00e9sidente du collectif Une Autre Mode Est Possible (UAMEP). Lanc\u00e9 en 2017, le collectif se concentre sur l\u2019\u00e9co-conception, l\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire et la solidarit\u00e9 textile. Il r\u00e9unit pr\u00e8s de 100 cr\u00e9ateurs, artisans et professionnels pour repenser la mode \u00e0 travers des ateliers, des r\u00e9sidences artistiques, des boutiques \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8res et des \u00e9v\u00e9nements publics tels que la \u201cSemaine des Autres Modes.\u201d Arielle L\u00e9vy Verry a une exp\u00e9rience directe de l\u2019entrepreneuriat, ayant dirig\u00e9 une marque de mode \u00e9thique, L\u2019Herbe Rouge, entre 2011 et 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Claudia Neme\u0219 est une designer autodidacte roumaine et fondatrice d\u2019Arc Studio, une marque de slow fashion lanc\u00e9e \u00e0 Cluj-Napoca en 2020. Pendant plus de dix ans, elle a constitu\u00e9 une biblioth\u00e8que textile personnelle, m\u00ealant mati\u00e8res r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9es, fins de stocks et textiles d\u2019archives, pour cr\u00e9er une v\u00e9ritable \u00ab\u202fbanque de mat\u00e9riaux\u202f\u00bb qui alimente aujourd\u2019hui ses cr\u00e9ations. Arc Studio propose des pi\u00e8ces intemporelles \u2014 souvent en \u00e9ditions limit\u00e9es ou pi\u00e8ces uniques \u2014 con\u00e7ues dans une d\u00e9marche durable. En 2024, Arc Studio a remport\u00e9 le 2\u1d49 prix de l\u2019appel \u00e0 projets organis\u00e9 lors de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de \u00ab\u202fSpeeding Up Slow Fashion\u202f\u00bb, visant \u00e0 soutenir les initiatives innovantes dans le domaine de la mode durable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Elvys Sandu Prisecaru est un designer de mode et entrepreneur social roumain, titulaire d\u2019un master en Slow Fashion de la Facult\u00e9 des Arts Visuels et du Design de Ia\u0219i. Il est cofondateur de REDU, entreprise sociale bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Ia\u0219i, qui transforme les d\u00e9chets textiles pr\u00e9- et post-consommation en v\u00eatements et accessoires upcycl\u00e9s, en partenariat avec des usines locales et des communaut\u00e9s. \u00c9galement pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019association Mai Bine, Elvys a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs projets europ\u00e9ens de recherche textile visant \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux textiles circulaires biosourc\u00e9s et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la transparence et la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 dans l\u2019industrie textile.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
