{"id":11827,"date":"2025-09-19T09:22:42","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T09:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/institutfrancais.ro\/bucuresti\/?p=11827"},"modified":"2026-01-19T10:29:18","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T10:29:18","slug":"sinae-lee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/institutfrancais.ro\/bucuresti\/sinae-lee\/","title":{"rendered":"Sinae Lee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Reziden\u021b\u0103 la Ia\u0219i \u0219i \u021aib\u0103ne\u0219ti \u00een perioada 19.09 \u2013 9.10.2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizat\u0103 de&nbsp;<strong>Institutul Francez din Rom\u00e2nia<\/strong>, \u00een parteneriat cu&nbsp;<strong>Borderline Art Space<\/strong>&nbsp;\u0219i&nbsp;<strong>Asocia\u021bia Maria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proiect sus\u021binut de&nbsp;<strong>Institutul Francez<\/strong>&nbsp;din Paris \u0219i&nbsp;<strong>Funda\u021bia Hippocr\u00e8ne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sc\u00e2nteia care a dat na\u0219tere reziden\u021bei lui Sinae Lee este una dintre fotografiile sale de familie. Ea, copil, care face semnul V \u00een fa\u021ba obiectivului, pozeaz\u0103 l\u00e2ng\u0103 mama sa, impasibil\u0103. Dou\u0103 genera\u021bii, dou\u0103 atitudini, care, mul\u021bi ani mai t\u00e2rziu, se confrunt\u0103 cu diferen\u021bele lor, traduse prin decalaje de \u00een\u021belegere, emo\u021bii de&nbsp;<em>love &amp; hate<\/em>. Artista, stabilit\u0103 \u00een Fran\u021ba de mai bine de zece ani, face din distan\u021ba \u2013 fizic\u0103 \u0219i afectiv\u0103 \u2013 fa\u021b\u0103 de \u021bara natal\u0103 \u0219i familia sa, tema principal\u0103 a ac\u021biunilor, videoclipurilor \u0219i instala\u021biilor sale.<br>\u2003\u00cen Rom\u00e2nia, ea deschide un capitol animat de dorin\u021ba de a calma \u0219i atenua conflictul genera\u021bional, neutraliz\u00e2nd semnul V. Gest comun, acesta simbolizeaz\u0103 uneori o victorie militar\u0103, alteori semnul de raliere al hippyilor, dr\u0103g\u0103l\u0103\u0219enia kawaii sau chiar una dintre mi\u0219c\u0103rile jocului \u201epiatr\u0103, h\u00e2rtie, foarfec\u0103\u201d. Artista adun\u0103 toate aceste semnifica\u021bii \u00eentr-un obiect totemic: o sabie cu dou\u0103 m\u00e2nere, surmontat\u0103 de o m\u00e2n\u0103, cu degetele ridicate \u00een form\u0103 de V. Este sabia egalit\u0103\u021bii, a compromisului. Scopul celor care \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u0219esc aceast\u0103 sabie nu este s\u0103 \u00eenving\u0103, ci s\u0103 se \u00een\u021beleag\u0103.<br>\u2003Reziden\u021ba la Ia\u0219i a punctat aceast\u0103 poveste, \u00eentre experien\u021ba individual\u0103 \u0219i istoria universal\u0103, cu o faz\u0103 de produc\u021bie datorit\u0103 tradi\u021biei me\u0219te\u0219ugului metalului \u0219i fierului. Sinae Lee petrece trei s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni \u00eentr-un atelier de fier\u0103rie, numit \u201eBatem fierul la conac!\u201d, al\u0103turi de tovar\u0103\u0219ii de datorie. Ea se cufund\u0103 \u00een via\u021ba atelierului, de la rutina muncii la camaraderie, trec\u00e2nd prin \u00eenv\u0103\u021barea tehnicilor rudimentare. Este o experien\u021b\u0103 fizic\u0103 \u0219i senzorial\u0103 din mai multe puncte de vedere: pe de o parte, atmosfera sonor\u0103 este saturat\u0103 de zgomote, sec \u0219i repetitive ale loviturilor de ciocan, altele zumz\u0103ind ca ventilatorul care permite controlul temperaturii cuptoarelor; pe de alt\u0103 parte, ea se confrunt\u0103 cu exigen\u021ba gesturilor meseriei, cu for\u021ba necesar\u0103 pentru a \u00eenc\u0103lzi \u0219i cioc\u0103ni metalul. Ea \u00eenregistreaz\u0103 prin video sau fotografie micro-evenimentele care se \u00eempletesc \u00een imaginea de ansamblu a\u0219a cum ne-o imagin\u0103m, corpurile la lucru, duo-ul om-tehnic\u0103. Ea urm\u0103re\u0219te zgomotele de fond, mini-praful de carbon care str\u0103luce\u0219te \u00een soarele dimine\u021bii.<br>\u2003Este o aten\u021bie acordat\u0103 discretului \u0219i subiacentului, o metodologie pe care o aplic\u0103 propriei experien\u021be de reziden\u021b\u0103. Cu ajutorul tehnic al colegilor de atelier, ea produce o prim\u0103 versiune a sabiei sale, care, dincolo de rezultatul formal legat de ideea sa ini\u021bial\u0103, \u00eencapsuleaz\u0103 straturile rela\u021bionale \u0219i empirice care s-au sedimentat pe parcursul reziden\u021bei. De\u0219i a adus cu ea dorin\u021ba de a crea obiecte plastice, Sinae Lee s-a l\u0103sat purtat\u0103 de context \u0219i de elementele prezente.<br>\u2003A fost intrigat\u0103, de exemplu, de observarea numeroaselor case neterminate din \u00eemprejurimile atelierului. \u201eSe spune\u201d c\u0103 acestea sunt rezultatul deplas\u0103rilor succesive ale muncitorilor sezonieri \u00eentre Italia sau Germania \u0219i Rom\u00e2nia. Casele avanseaz\u0103 sau sunt puse \u00een pauz\u0103, \u00een func\u021bie de sosirea muncitorilor, locuite de visul de a se putea instala \u00eentr-o zi acolo sau abandonate dac\u0103 ace\u0219ti muncitori nu se \u00eentorc \u00een cele din urm\u0103. Entuziasmul \u0219i dezorientarea unei sosiri \u00eentr-un teritoriu necunoscut; nostalgia \u0219i dezorientarea p\u0103r\u0103sirii acestui loc devenit familiar. Ea transpune aceste dus-\u00eentors \u00een filme, \u00een continuarea operei&nbsp;<em>J\u2019ai besoin de la chance<\/em>&nbsp;(Am nevoie de noroc): camera ei, a\u0219ezat\u0103 pe geamul ma\u0219inii care o duce la aeroport, \u00eenregistreaz\u0103 c\u0103l\u0103toria, \u00eendep\u0103rtarea progresiv\u0103 \u0219i schimb\u0103rile peisajului. La \u00eentoarcerea din Rom\u00e2nia, ea a repetat pentru a patra oar\u0103 ac\u021biunea sa performativ\u0103 filmat\u0103,&nbsp;<em>Past and Future<\/em>, \u00een care face autostopul cu destina\u021bia trecutul sau viitorul.<br>\u2003Sabia care a condus-o \u00een Rom\u00e2nia i-a permis s\u0103 deschid\u0103 o alt\u0103 cale, cea a apropierii \u00eentre diferite geografii, \u00eentre ceea ce a fost tr\u0103it \u0219i ceea ce urmeaz\u0103 s\u0103 vin\u0103.
