Le m\u00eame philosophe annon\u00e7ait la mort de Dieu, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la fin des valeurs absolues et des v\u00e9rit\u00e9s suprasensibles sous l\u2019offensive des progr\u00e8s techno-scientifiques. En tant que construction humaine qui s\u2019est elle-m\u00eame oubli\u00e9e, la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 est pour Nietzsche une m\u00e9taphore qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 fig\u00e9e culturellement. Si l\u2019on s\u2019en tient \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tymologie de \u201cm\u00e9taphore\u201d, <em>metaphora<\/em>, le terme d\u00e9signe un transport, y compris dans son sens litt\u00e9ral : c\u2019est ce qui \u201cporte au-del\u00e0\u201d. Une soucoupe volante est donc, mat\u00e9riellement et po\u00e9tiquement une m\u00e9taphore, autant parce qu\u2019elle est, concr\u00e8tement, un moyen de transport, que parce l\u2019expression op\u00e8re le d\u00e9placement abstrait d\u2019un objet (la soucoupe). Quand on recherche sur internet les formes d\u2019OVNI (ou FAN) recens\u00e9es, on tombe sur des triangles, des ballons de rugby, ou encore des tic-tac. L&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat de Jos\u00e9phine Topolanski pour l\u2019ufologie rel\u00e8ve en grande partie, \u00e0 mes yeux, de ce pouvoir de la m\u00e9taphore. L\u2019artiste met au jour l\u2019instabilit\u00e9 des r\u00e9gimes de v\u00e9rit\u00e9s puisque toute chose peut &#8211; \u00e0 travers le regard de l\u2019artiste &#8211; acqu\u00e9rir une origine extraterrestre : abats-jour, lampadaires, radiateurs ponc\u00e9s. Les r\u00e9cits trouvent leur force dans le travail sur les formes, les mat\u00e9riaux, les modalit\u00e9s de la narration ufologique qui jettent leur ombre port\u00e9e sur notre r\u00e9alit\u00e9 terrestre, r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e \u00e0 son tour par l\u2019artiste dans sa potentialit\u00e9 m\u00e9taphorique.<br>\u2003Le premier repas ufologique auquel participe, en 2020, Jos\u00e9phine Topolanski, rassemblait une communaut\u00e9 d\u2019amateurs et d\u2019experts autour d\u2019une visioconf\u00e9rence de Dan Farca\u0219 , figure principale de l\u2019ufologie en Roumanie et pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019ASFAN (Asocia\u021bia pentru Studiul Fenomenelor Aerospatiale Neidentificate). Lors de sa r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Residenta 9 (Bucarest), l\u2019artiste a \u00e9tendu ses recherches sur Farca\u0219 au contexte historique roumain, en particulier \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution du traitement politique des ufologues pendant et post-r\u00e9gime Ceau\u0219escu. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019apr\u00e8s la chute du communisme en 1989 que l\u2019ufologie a pu v\u00e9ritablement se d\u00e9ployer, \u00e9chappant au contr\u00f4le \u00e9troit des m\u00e9dias en vigueur sous Ceau\u0219escu. Le prolifique Dan Farca\u0219 rapporte en particulier les t\u00e9moignages d\u2019aviateurs fin des ann\u00e9es 1960, d\u00e9crivant des objets lumineux elliptiques volant sans bruit, \u00e0 tr\u00e8s grande vitesse et avec des changements de direction impossibles pour l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique classique. Dans ce contexte historique, marqu\u00e9 par le culte de la personnalit\u00e9, la surveillance renforc\u00e9e et l\u2019explosion de la censure, Farca\u0219 note que les aviateurs n\u2019avaient aucun int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 t\u00e9moigner. Mais ce qui a attir\u00e9 Jos\u00e9phine Topolanski \u00e0 traverser l\u2019ufologie roumaine, se situe \u00e9galement dans les liens tiss\u00e9s entre le folklore, la religion et les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes a\u00e9riens. En d\u00e9coule une r\u00e9flexion originale de l\u2019artiste sur les formes visuelles que prennent les croyances &#8211; ufologiques, orthodoxes &#8211; envelopp\u00e9es dans un appareil liturgique \u00e9tonnamment similaire : chasuble, autel, mitre\u2026 Les r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiels collectifs (religieux ou fictionnels) deviennent des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s partag\u00e9es et les molletons de protection utilis\u00e9s dans les autels liturgiques se rapprochent, sous le regard de l\u2019artiste, des murs capitonn\u00e9s tapissant l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des vaisseaux spatiaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
