Acela\u0219i filozof anun\u021ba moartea lui Dumnezeu, adic\u0103 finalul valorilor absolute si adev\u0103rurilor suprasensibile sub ofensiva progreselor tehno-\u0219tiin\u021bifice. Ca o construc\u021bie uman\u0103 care s-a uitat pe ea \u00eens\u0103\u0219i, adev\u0103rul este pentru Nietzsche o metafor\u0103 care a fost blocat\u0103 cultural. Dac\u0103 ne raport\u0103m la etimologia termenului \u201emetafor\u0103\u201d, <em>metaphora, <\/em>termenul desemneaz\u0103 un transport, inclusiv \u00een sensul s\u0103u literar: este ceea ce \u201epoart\u0103 dincolo\u201d. O farfurie zbur\u0103toare este deci, material \u0219i poetic o metafor\u0103, at\u00e2t c\u00e2t este, concret, un mijloc de transport, c\u00e2t \u0219i pentru c\u0103 expresia realizeaz\u0103 deplasarea abstract\u0103 a unui obiect (farfurioara). C\u00e2nd cau\u021bi pe internet formele de OZN-uri (sau FAN-uri) \u00eenregistrate, dai peste triunghiuri, mingi de rugby sau chiar tic-tac-uri. Interesul lui Jos\u00e9phine Topolanski pentru ufologie \u021bine, \u00een mare parte, dup\u0103 p\u0103rerea mea, de aceast\u0103 putere a metaforei. Artista scoate la lumin\u0103 instabilitatea regimurilor de adev\u0103r, pentru c\u0103 orice lucru poate \u2013 prin privirea artistei \u2013 s\u0103 dob\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 o origine extraterestr\u0103: abajururi, st\u00e2lpi de iluminat, calorifere \u0219lefuite. Pove\u0219tile \u00ee\u0219i g\u0103sesc for\u021ba \u00een lucrul cu formele, materialele \u0219i modalit\u0103\u021bile narative ale ufologiei, care arunc\u0103 o umbr\u0103 asupra realit\u0103\u021bii noastre terestre, dezv\u0103luit\u0103 la r\u00e2ndul ei de artist\u0103 \u00een poten\u021bialitatea ei metaforic\u0103.<br>\u2003Prima mas\u0103 ufologic\u0103 la care a participat, \u00een 2020, Jos\u00e9phine Topolanski a reunit o comunitate de amatori \u0219i exper\u021bi \u00een jurul unei videoconferin\u021be sus\u021binute de Dan Farca\u0219, figur\u0103 central\u0103 a ufologiei din Rom\u00e2nia \u0219i pre\u0219edinte al ASFAN (Asocia\u021bia pentru Studiul Fenomenelor Aerospatiale Neidentificate). \u00cen timpul reziden\u021bei sale la Reziden\u021ba9 (Bucure\u0219ti), artista a extins c\u0103ut\u0103rile sale despre Farca\u0219 \u00een contextul istoric rom\u00e2n, \u00een special spre evolu\u021bia tratatului politic a ufologiei \u00een timpul si post-regimului Ceau\u0219escu. Abia dup\u0103 c\u0103derea comunismului \u00een 1989 ufologia a putut s\u0103 se dezvolte cu adev\u0103rat, sc\u0103p\u00e2nd de controlul strict al mass-media impus de regimul lui Ceau\u0219escu. Prolificul Dan Farca\u0219 relateaz\u0103 \u00een special m\u0103rturii ale pilo\u021bilor de la sf\u00e2r\u0219itul anilor 1960, care descriau obiecte luminoase, eliptice, zbur\u00e2nd f\u0103r\u0103 zgomot, cu vitez\u0103 extrem de mare \u0219i schimb\u0103ri de direc\u021bie imposibile pentru aeronautica clasic\u0103. \u00cen acest context istoric, marcat de cultul personalit\u0103\u021bii, supravegherea intensificat\u0103 \u0219i explozia cenzurii, Farca\u0219 observ\u0103 c\u0103 pilo\u021bii nu aveau niciun interes s\u0103 depun\u0103 m\u0103rturie.<br>\u2003Dar ceea ce a atras-o pe Jos\u00e9phine Topolanski \u00een explorarea ufologiei rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti se afl\u0103 \u0219i \u00een conexiunile dintre folclor, religie \u0219i fenomenele aeriene. Din acestea rezult\u0103 o reflec\u021bie original\u0103 a artistei asupra formelor vizuale pe care le iau credin\u021bele \u2013 ufologice sau ortodoxe \u2013 \u00eenv\u0103luite \u00eentr-un aparat liturgic surprinz\u0103tor de asem\u0103n\u0103tor: ve\u0219m\u00e2nt de preot, altar, mitr\u0103\u2026 Referin\u021bele colective (religioase sau fic\u021bionale) devin realit\u0103\u021bi \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u0219ite, iar molletonul protector folosit la altarele liturgice se apropie, prin privirea artistei, de pere\u021bii c\u0103ptu\u0219i\u021bi care acoper\u0103 interiorul
